What is a Guild?

A Children's Hospital Guild often begins from an idea of one or two special individuals who have been touched by the story of someone they know - a friend, a relative or their own child. Many have had a personal experience with Children's Hospital.

A guild is a group of people joined together to make a difference in the health and well-being of children. Guilds raise money to help families who cannot afford the full cost of their child's health care and to support the search for cures through groundbreaking research and the building of state-of-the-art facilities.

Participating in a guild is a great opportunity to be part of something unique and do something rewarding.

What is the Children's Air Corps?

The Children's Air Corps Guild is a group of pilots reaching out to the aviation world to help find a cure for childhood cancers. Richard Newman founded the guild after his daughter Carli spent many months at Children's undergoing treatment for lymphoblastic lymphoma. While many cases of lymphoma can be treated successfully (including Carli's), the prognosis is poor for children diagnosed with neuroblastoma, which took the life of her friend Kaitlin.

Funds raised by the Children's Air Corps Guild go toward research into better treatments for Kaitlin's illness.
